Becoming a member

How do I sign up for myself?

Becoming a member is easy and takes just a few minutes!

  1. Complete the registration form on this website
  2. Setup your Member Hub account (you will receive email instructions)

That’s it, you’re a bona-fide Cavalier! If you’re intending to actively participate in sessions, you can purchase your tickets via the links in the hub.

NOTE: Actively participating fencers and coaches will also require a Fencing WA registration in the OnePoint system to be covered for insurance.

My kid wants to fence, how do I sign them up?

Just like anyone else, they’ll need to be signed up as a member – then they’ll have access to our Bladez sessions (for U14) or standard sessions as a Junior (14+). While not a requirement, we recommend that parents and guardians become members as well for a few reasons:

  1. Under our constitution, voting in a general assembly is age restricted – being a member yourself gives you a say in how your kid’s club is run
  2. If you decide you’d like to try fencing yourself, it’s as simple as registering for the sessions you want
  3. You and your kid both get invited to all the Cavs social events (which are always a great time)

NOTE: Actively participating fencers and coaches will also require a Fencing WA registration in the OnePoint system to be covered for insurance.

If you’d like to sign up as well…

  1. Complete the registration form on the website for yourself first, with the member hub account under your name
  2. Fill out the Register new member form in the Member Hub with your kid’s details
  3. Complete either a Bladez or General session order via the links in the Hub

Once you’ve done this, checking your profiles in the Member Hub will show both your profile and your kid’s. You’ll have complete jurisdiction over their profile, and can manage their membership independently of your own.

If you’re not interested in being a member…

That’s ok, we understand. In that case, you’ll…

  1. Complete the website registration form with your kid’s details
  2. Setup the member hub account under their name
  3. Complete either a Bladez or General session order via the links in the Hub

NOTE: If you later choose to become a member and would like to manage both profiles under a single account, you’ll need to send a request to memberships@cavaliers.com.au so we can migrate the profile.
